Carl

Carl Brothers started Points Analytics after leaving his corporate job doing business analytics in financial services. Born in the Philippines, educated in Germany and now based in Denver, Colorado, Carl has had a head start in the frequent flyer game. He has been a member of United MileagePlus since 1993 and gained his first frequent flyer elite status with TWA in 1994. He currently has MileagePlus Premier Gold status for life and is still plotting to do the quickest 1 million miles on United. His maniacal passion for the miles and points game was ultimately sparked when he became a road warrior for a technical consulting firm after graduate school. Frequent flyer programs and other loyalty programs eased the sting of the rigors of weekly travel. During his spare time, Carl likes to plot his next travel adventure, scouring the internet for fare deals and mistake fares and maximizing award chart conversation tables. His specialty is premium award travel and once orchestrated a Star Alliance round-the-world award trip in first class aboard three A380s on three different carriers.

Points Analytics aims to help clients realize their travel dreams using points. While there is a dearth of information available out there on how to earn and burn your miles, not everyone is as keen and maniacal in executing these strategies and we are here to help! With our background in analytics, data mining and business intelligence combined with our unquenchable passion for travel and exploring the world, you are in good hands.

While anyone can book an award flight, our flight award search methodology assures you that you get the best value for your points! On a client’s recent trip to China, Points Analytics able to save our clients 200,000 miles on a first class trip for two and assured that all flights longer than 3 hours were on proper international three-class cabins.
